This is a reasonably scaled model of a pleasure schooner. This was not a
kit. It has plank on frame construction and interior cabin details. It has
some beautiful wood work.
This boat was built by a hobbyist in
Winterport Maine sometime back in the late 1950s
or early 1960’s. It
has a lead keel and working rudder however it
has never been in the water. This is not a toy.
The rigging and sails needs a bit of work.
